Risen from the grave: In Valor Mortis, you fight as an undead soldier against a supernatural plague! With Valor Mortis, the development studio One More Level, known for Ghostrunner, announces a new first-person action game in the Souls-like genre.<br /><br />You take on the role of William, a fallen soldier of the Grande Armée who has been brought back from the grave by a mysterious power. The story is set in an alternate version of the 19th century, in which Europe is ravaged by a supernatural plague.<br /><br />This so-called Nephtoglobin power gives you superhuman abilities, but it has also turned the world around you into a hell populated by monsters.<br />The combat system is based on precise parries, quick dodges, and brutal finishers. With each defeat, you can unlock new powers and further develop your abilities.<br /><br />The game world is marked by the consequences of endless wars and offers numerous environmental secrets that can give you tactical advantages.
